Description
The R-Stent sirolimus-eluting coronary stent is intended to expand the lumen of the coronary arteries and reduce the risk of restenosis, and to treat coronary lesions with a diameter from 2.24 to 4.0 mm.
- Ultra-thin struts (65 µm) reduce the risk of late stent thrombosis
- Ultra-low crossing profile (~1.0 mm) for improved flexibility and deliverability
- Increased radial strength gives reliable vessel-wall support and reduces recoil (<5%) for a stable result after implantation
- A thin 3 µm bioresorbable polymer coating reduces the risk of vessel inflammation
- The coating technology keeps the polymer intact after stent expansion and ensures controlled drug release
